In 1953, British megaproducer J. Arthur Rank started a new franchise with the creation and release of the popular medical comedy DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE. With Dirk Bogarde in the lead, the picture told of six medical students intent on becoming doctors to treat beautiful women and collect huge paychecks. The movie attained such popularity that it spawned not one but six additional "Doctor" films. All of them appear in this box set, designed expressly for devoted fans of the series. Additional titles in the collection include: DOCTOR AT SEA (1955), DOCTOR AT LARGE (1957), Doctor in Love (1960), DOCTOR IN DISTRESS (1963), DOCTOR IN CLOVER (1965) and DOCTOR IN TROUBLE (1970).All were directed by Ralph Thomas.
