Twenty-five years ago, Alec Mason (Robert Patrick) led the Red Faction in their successful battle against the tyrannical Earth Defense force, a group determined to impose their own malevolent will on the inhabitants of Mars. Although the people of the Red Planet regained their freedom, Mason's wife was later killed in revenge, and his daughter Lyra (Tamzin Merchant) abducted. Now, 12 years after his sister was taken away, Alec's son Jake (Brian J. Smith) learns that she has survived her harrowing ordeal. Unfortunately, today Mars faces a new threat, and upon locating his missing sister, Alec discovers that she has become his worst enemy. Lyra has dedicated her life to the destruction of the Red Faction, and she won't stop until her brother, and every other rebel fighter, is dead.
