A good mix of atmosphere, nostalgia and whimsy, the program is entertaining, though not especially educational.

Product Description:
Rick Sebak has taken PBS viewers across America in his car to see GREAT OLD AMUSEMENT PARKS, SHORE THINGS, and all things wiener in A HOT DOG PROGRAM. Now, he's packing light because a person can find anything at a flea market and in this travel through America's parking lots and fairgrounds, Mr. Sebak finds many of them. The public television personality takes his faithful followers bargain shopping at some of the biggest, best, and most unusual flea markets across the lower 48. He meets with some of the shoppers as well as the eccentric men and women who make their living selling everything from decrepit junk to priceless antiques to things that may have fallen off a truck. Some of the highlights on this tour of these gathering spots of capitalism include the Highway 127 Sale in Kentucky and First Monday Trade Days in Texas.
