Eve Corbin, raised by her Sea-Captain father without the benefit of a woman's touch, has spent her years either working onboard his ship or enjoying shore leave disguised as a boy. However when she meets the handsome Bob Britton in the Chinese port of Sub Gum, she begins to wonder about romance.
