A native of Beaumont, Texas, country singer Billie Jo Spears reached the top ten of the country music charts five times between 1969 and 1977 including one #1 single with “Blanket On The Ground” in 1975. Presented here is Spear's rare mid-1970's album entitled “Sunshine” which includes a country cover of Melanie's “Look What They've Done To My Song,” and Hank William's “I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry.” All selections have been newly remastered.
