Performers include: Nat "King" Cole, Johnny Mathis, Eartha Kitt, Ray Charles, The Supremes, Andy Williams, Mavis Staples, Jose Feliciano, The Singing Dogs.

Includes liner notes by Mark Marymont.

Collectables' Ultimate Christmas Album, Vol. 3 is another quirky mix of standards and relatively obscure holiday tunes. Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song," Perry Como's "Home for the Holidays," and Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" fall into the latter category, while the Impressions' "Amen," Mavis Staples' "Christmas Vacation," and Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds' "Chrissy the Christmas Mouse" are prime examples of the former. The Supremes' strangely egotistical "Twinkle Twinkle Little Me," Darlene Love's "All Alone on Christmas," and Jos? Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad" are some of the other highlights from this interesting, if somewhat scattered, holiday collection.
~ Heather Phares

Ultimate Christmas Album, Vol. 3 is an impressive 25-track collection of seasonal favorites assembled from a wide range of eras and genres. Highlights include Bing Crosby's "White Christmas," Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song," Johnny Mathis' "Winter Wonderland," Jose Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad" and the Singing Dogs' "Jingle Bells"; while not a definitive holiday collection, it includes enough hits and obscurities alike to be a worthwhile purchase nevertheless.
