Product Description:
Two CD live collection. Texas born Freddie King was one of the all-time great blues guitarists, and was a major influence in the '60s on the likes of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Peter Green, and Mick Taylor. These live recordings showcase his classic repertoire over a period from 1969 to 1975. His signature tune 'Hideaway' featured here on discs one and two, was named after a nightclub on Chicago's Westside; 'Mel's Hideaway lounge'. There is a rich legacy of Freddie King'S recordings available of which this double set is a fine example.
