Southern California's Tiger Army has built a loyal following with their gutsy, stripped down psychobilly sound. MUSIC FROM REGIONS BEYOND, the band's fourth album, contains more of their classic, punk-influenced rock & roll, yet also branches out into country, synth-pop, metal, and balladry. The experiments aren't always successful, but the band's efforts make for a diverse and energetic listen, proving that Tiger Army aren't necessarily married to the formula that gave them their start, and that their sound can encompass any number of styles.
