This British thriller stars Stanley Baker as Johnny Bannion, a well-known hoodlum and the leader of an unorganized gang of criminals. When his stay in prison is cut short by a daring prison break perpetrated by his right-hand man, Mike Carter, Johnny immediately begins planning a big racetrack heist. Unfortunately, this job lands Johnny in the slammer once again, only this time his prison stay is made much tougher by hostile fellow convicts and old associates who would like nothing better than to overthrow Britain's reigning underworld kingpin.
