Director Anthony Hornus' psychological drama film draws parallels between a military veteran's experience of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) while attempting to readjust to civilian life and the abuse of unwanted dogs. Tragedy ensues when a troubled Marine veteran's makeshift dog shelter goes up in flames, prompting him to seek revenge against the callous teenagers who were responsible.
