Set at the very height of World War II, BEACHHEAD follows the fortunes of four marines as they attempt to discover the location of a Japanese minefield. Paranoia ensues when they receive information that a French spy may know the whereabouts of the deadly weaponry, but they cannot decide whether to trust him or not. Hunting him down also proves problematic, as the Japanese army closes in on them. Tony Curtis stars in this subtle slice of period drama.
