Plaster Caster traces the remarkable career of renowned artist and super-groupie Cynthia Plaster Caster, (in)famous for casting rock stars' penises. Long thought to be a myth, the original Plaster Caster of Chicago tells her incredible story, from meeting her mentor Frank Zappa to her notorious encounters with Led Zeppelin, KISS and Jimi Hendrix! Sharing their experiences with Cynthia are some of her most notable friends and "castees," including the late Noel Redding (The Jimi Hendrix Experience), Eric Burdon (The Animals), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Paul Barker (Ministry), Mark Arm (Mudhoney), Suzi Gardner (L7), Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Pete Shelley (Buzzcocks), Wayne Kramer (MC5), uber-groupies Pamela Des Barres and Miss Mercy, writer Camille Paglia, and artist Ed Paschke.

Cynthia Plastercaster is an infamous figure on the music scene, best known for moulding plaster casts of the penises of rock stars! The road to her career of choice has been fraught with many hazards, ranging from a shy guitarist, to an over-zealous glam rock star. An array of former "clients" and future candidates are included in this documentary, including Noel Redding, Jello Biafra, Wayne Kramer, Pete Shelley, and many more.
