Rating: 2.5/4 -- Much of Heart of Midnight is simply silliness, devoting itself to a series of false alarms in which strange noises mean nothing and Carol always is having to calm herself after her imagination runs away with her. Full Review

Product Description:

A woman who was sexually abused by her uncle as a child inherits a run-down nightclub from him, and finds her old terrors resurfacing.

Plot Synopsis:

When Carol Rivers's uncle dies, she inherits the creepy building that housed his seedy nightclub. The young woman, who has been struggling to overcome mental illness, moves in and is soon sexually molested. She notifies the police, but the cop who arrives -- Ledray -- has trouble believing the story because of Carol's past. A man calling himself Detective Sharpe later shows up to investigate... but he might not be who he claims to be.
Meanwhile, Carol gets the feeling there's somebody stalking her. But could this -- and even the rape -- just be in her mind'
