Rating: 3/5 -- While the dancing depicted is often beautiful, this is more about the boys' friendship: a nostalgic insight into the kind of intense relationship that can occupy a teenager's world, but be all but forgotten in a few years' time. Full Review

Product Description:

Kenneth Elvebakk's documentary BALLET BOYS follows Lukas, Syvert, and Torgeir, three teen boys who become friends when they all begin serious training to become ballet dancers. The film captures them struggling with the physical demands placed on their bodies, as well as the toll their training takes on their familial relationships. Eventually, their bonds of friendship are tested when one of them gets the chance at a major audition.
