Product Description:

Here's an interesting concept -- take a bunch of old scratchy 78s of pop tunes from the 1920s, clean them up as well as you can, and alternate them with new recordings of pianola rolls that were made during the same time period. This 20-track collection is an absolute delight for pop history buffs, as well as just fans of this particular brand of popular tune. The pianola rolls sound wonderfully full (with two set of hands on the keys, how could they not?), but the collection of 78s are as wonderful as any from the period, and Brian Rust's notes help to make this one wonderful overall package. ~ Cub Koda
