They hire beautiful Helen Berkeley to seduce Gaillard and entice him back to the casino, where he ends up gambling away all the money he won, at her behest. However, when she learns that he was gambling in order to earn money for his own countrymen who are living in poverty, she repents and confesses. The pair, now in love, head off together.
