Rating: 3/4 -- Arriving at the (stinger-equipped) tail end of the Cold War-inspired cycle of films about apocalyptic arthropods, 'The Black Scorpion' benefits from its spectacular monsters. Full Review

Description by

It's giant man-eating bugs battling humans to the death again ... and the future of civilization hangs in the balance! When earthquakes release a swarm of giant scorpions from a subterranean cavern in Mexico, the oversized arachnids go on a voracious rampage, slaughtering everyone in their way before the Mexican army stops them all ... except the biggest, meanest and hungriest of the deadly invertebrates, which heads straight for Mexico City with a taste for humans.

black scorpion has sting Movie Lover: from OREGON, OH US -- June, 12, 2017

A volcano eruption releases giant scorpions from the bowels of the earth.there is a love interest as a secondary plot but the stars of the show are the scorpions.this was made on a budget but for the most part the special effects are great for people like myself who enjoy giant monster pictures.
