The special effects surrounding the bee attacks are poor, and the climactic twist shouldn't fool anyone over the age of 12.

Product Description:
Now available fully colorized, classic film THE DEADLY BEES packs an even more horror-filled sting! When exhausted pop singer Vicki Robbins (Suzanna Leigh) retreats to the country for a much needed rest, she thinks she's found the perfect idyll--a quiet and remote island farm run by the Hargroves, an elderly couple who bicker, seemingly harmlessly. But when a swarm of bees attacks and kills Mrs. Hargrove (Catherine Finn), Vicky realizes something much more sinister is going on. I saw this in the 60's when I was 5, or 6 years old. 50 years later I am going to finally see it again. I remember how scary it was. It was 10 years ahead of all the Bee movies of the 70's. I recommend you watch this original. Sure the storyline is a bit corny, but this was the first time a movie depict bee's swarming and killing people. Don't forget the popcorn.
