Set during the Cold War, this charming comedy based on Shakespeares classic love story follows a tiny European countrys President (Ustinov) who holds the deciding vote in a United Nations debate. Determined to remain neutral, he orchestrates a romance between the American ambassadors daughter (Dee) and the Russian ambassadors son (John Gavin). If the two opposing world powers cant successfully join forces, there just may be a plague on both their houses!
