Product Description:
A Bronx gangster is forced into a "Scared Straight" program after her crimes yield unanticipated consequences, forcing her down a difficult path of redemption that will test her strength and reveal her true character. Shakira was just a frightened young girl in need of a friend. She thought that by joining a gang, she'd find sisterhood and protection. When things get out of hand, Shakira finds herself in a rehabilitation program, where an ex-gang leader attempts to show her that she needn't turn to crime in order to find comfort and acceptance.
