As the summer holidays approach, schoolteacher Antoinette (Laure Calamy) anticipates spending her vacation with Vladimir (Benjamin Lavernhe), her lover and the father of one of her students. Antoinette's dreams of a romantic getaway are thwarted by Vladimir's wife, who surprises him with a donkey trekking expedition in the Cévennes National Park.
