Rating: 1/5 -- Os efeitos visuais são pavorosos, os personagens se resumem a estereótipos, o roteiro é péssimo e o 'monstro espacial' é um dos mais ridículos já criados pelas ficções B.

Rating: 3/5 -- Odd, intriguing sci-fi film doesn't entirely work, but holds the interest.

Rating: 7/10 -- From a distance KRONOS looks like a fairly spectacular Earth invasion film. Seen individually each visual effect seems to give up its secrets quite readily. Full Review

Description by OLDIES.com:

Scientists at a "top secret" atomic research laboratory are taken over by strange, fantastic control devices launched from an orbiting space ship inhabited by a hostile super-intelligence from beyond the stars.

Simultaneously, a gigantic flying saucer crashes in the Gulf of Mexico and Kronos, a giant metallic monolith monster emerges. Unstoppable, it slashes across the countryside, draining the Earth of all its electrical energy and beaming it into space. Kronos, a weapon so perfect in design it absorbs a direct hit by a hydrogen bomb and becomes that much more powerful! (Wade Williams)

Product Description:

A power depleted civilization sends a robot to Earth to gather its energy resources. As the robot devours increasingly large amounts of energy, its size enlarges correspondingly. Yikes!

Wonderful Oldie Movie Lover: from Malden, MA US -- January, 28, 2007

One of the more entertaining films from the 50's with an exellent musical score and very fine acting. The plot is unusual for the time and the special effects are a bit limted, but the movie has a charm of its own. The included theatrical trailer is hysterical! A must for any Sci-Fi movie collection.
