Biography

A quartet of Trevor Steel (vocals), John Holliday (guitar), Johnnie Christo (bass) and Milan Zekavica (drums), the Escape Club took their central influence from the glam rock era of T. Rex and David Bowie. Formed in Essex, England, in 1983, they signed to EMI Records after the release of their first single, ‘Breathing’, for Bright Records.
