Biography

An R&B trio from Detroit, Michigan, USA, originally known as the Three Caps, the Capitols were best known for their 1966 hit ‘Cool Jerk’. Originally formed around 1962 as a quintet, the two principal members were Donald Storball (guitar, vocals) and Samuel George (23 January 1942, d. 17 March 1982; drums, lead vocals).
