Biography
This underground hip-hop group was formed by US DJs/MCs Double K (Michael Turner, 1 August 1977, Los Angeles, California, USA) and Thes One (b. Christopher Portugal, 18 October 1977, Lima, Peru). The duo found each other through a love of the block rocking hip-hop styles of Freestyle Fellowship and the Beatnuts, which became the catalyst to forming People Under The Stairs in Los Angeles in the mid-90s.
