18 September 1973, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England. Lidell’s love affair with music and technology has resulted in electronic music of startling originality and unpredictable direction. His education set the tone, beginning with a physics degree at Bristol University that, interrupted by illness and time constraints, became psychology instead. In the mid-90s he was a frequent attendee at techno parties in London’s east end, moving on to Brighton with the express purpose of hooking up with producer Cristian Vogel. This meeting was timed to perfection as Vogel was regularly playing one of Lidell’s new tracks, written as Subhead. While in Brighton Lidell performed with Balzac, honing his vocal talent, and he met Geoff Johnston (aka Pablo Fiasco), who went on to provide visual material at his gigs.
