From Los Angeles, California, Hellion came together in 1982 and quickly gained support from local radio stations and metal magazines worldwide. The band was the brainchild of vocalist Ann Boleyn, who put together a series of formations before settling on a line-up of Alan Barlam (guitar), Sean Kelly (drums), Ray Schenck (guitar) and Bill Sweet (bass).
