Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad, 15 November 1945, Björkåsen, Narvik, Norway. Frida attempted to revive her career as a solo singer after the break-up of Abba in 1981, having already released two Swedish language albums in the early 70s prior to her membership of the group. She was the first of the group to make an English language solo album, 1982s Somethings Going On, which was produced by Phil Collins.
