Dicky Wells


Williams Wells, 10 June 1907, Centerville, Tennessee, USA, d. 12 November 1985, New York City, New York, USA. After starting out on other instruments, Wells took up the trombone in his mid-teens and a year later was playing in New York City with the band led by brothers Lloyd and Cecil Scott.
