Biography

29 March 1914, Galveston, Texas, USA. Howard took over the stool from Betty Hall Jones as pianist with Roy Milton’s Solid Senders in the early 40s. She recorded with Milton on all his prime recordings for Specialty Records and his own Roy Milton/Miltone labels of the 40s and early 50s, and was occasionally featured singing her ‘Groovy Blues’, ‘Mr Fine’, ‘Thrill Me’ and ‘Pack Your Sack, Jack’, among others.
