Arthur Tracvugsky, 25 June 1899, Russia, d. 6 October 1997, New York, USA. Billed on record labels as ‘The Street Singer’, Tracy was extremely popular during the 30s in the USA and the UK, dispensing his romantic, sentimental ballads on radio, films and in clubs. He was taken to the USA by his parents when he was six years old, and grew up in Philadelphia.
