Description by OLDIES.com:
Agnes Harrington is being pressured into marrying J. Wilson Rockmaine, an obnoxious, self-serving rat. He threatens to make public embarrassing and damaging information from Mrs. Harrington's past unless the nuptials take place. Enter John Fairfax -- wealthy, handsome, and immediately crazy about Agnes. At a posh party at the Fairfax estate, John and Agnes fall in love and determine to bring the blackmailer to justice.
Carol Dempster began her film career with D. W. Griffith's Intolerance (1916) and eventually became Griffith's off-screen love interest. She later appeared in Isn't Life Wonderful (1924) and Sally of the Sawdust (1925), also directed by Griffith. Henry Hull was a successful Broadway actor before he became a film star. He's best known for his roles in Stuart Walker's Werewolf of London (1935) and Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat (1944).
