This sequel to director Fernando Trueba's 1998 film THE GIRL OF YOUR DREAMS stars Penélope Cruz as actress Macarena Granada, who, after finding success in America, returns to her home country of Spain in 1956 to make a Hollywood film there. Granada and the rest of the crew quickly become mixed up with both the local revolutionaries and General Franco (Carlos Areces) in this showbiz comedy. Antonio Resines, Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, J.A. Bayona, and Santiago Segura co-star.
