Feelin' Stronger Every Day traces the founding, recording history, and musical impact of one of the world's most innovative and long-lasting rock bands, Chicago. Founded in the late 1960s by seven young musicians from the city of Chicago, they were the first group to graft a horn section onto a rock band, creating a progressive sound with a tougher edge than contemporary jazz-rock ensembles. With the release of songs like "25 Or 6 To 4", "Make Me Smile", and "Saturday In The Park", Chicago became the rock sound of the '70s, and when they began to record pop songs like "Hard To Say I'm Sorry", "You're the Inspiration", and "Hard Habit To Break" in the 1980s, they defined the power ballad. Since the release of Chicago Transit Authority, their first album, in 1969, Chicago has recorded over 25 more, 15 selling platinum or multi-platinum, with more than 100 million copies sold in total, while over 20 songs have become Top Ten hit singles.
