This is absolutely the best book on the early rock artists that I have ever read. There are hundreds of pictures and Bill's life is covered from childhood to death. There are many interviews with Bill's friends and fellow musicians. I'm lucky enough to have a lot of the early recordings from the Saddlemen and Comets and the book makes the music come alive.
