Product Description:

A virtuoso guitar player, Sabicas helped bring the flamenco style to new levels of popularity. Having risen from humble beginnings in Spain, Sabicas fled to South America in 1936 to escape the Civil War, discovering a welcoming audience for his inimitable talents among the locals as he toured the region. His fame was sealed when he took up residency in New York, and he worked with an incredible array of musicians from diverse backgrounds. Here, he is captured playing live with Adonis Puerta and Luis Vargas accompanying him on guitar and vocals respectively, in a concert from 1969.
