Description by Kultur Films:

Jack Sheldon and New Orleans are a natural combination. Both are slightly off-center, warm, spicy, and surge with good time swinging. He is one of the most original and distinctive trumpet voices in jazz. Growing up in Southern California, Sheldon was an early contributor to what would become the "West Coast" sound. He later travelled with the bands of Stan Kenton and Benny Goodman, followed by sixteen years as musical director on the "Merv Griffin Show".
