The Broadway Theatre Archive presents another program in its series of televised plays from the 60s to the 80s. This drama, written by John Steinbeck, takes place between a man and wife who are circus performers. The husband is gradually destroyed by his inability to father a child, and his wife in an act of love, goes to drastic means to help him. The brilliant cast is led by Colleen Dewhurst.
