Product Description:

As a program that broke new ground in the highly specific subgenre of the family-oriented western series, LARAMIE debuted in the fall of 1959 on NBC and ran for a respectable four seasons, with a permanent spot on Tuesday nights. Set in the Wyoming Territory of the 1870s U.S., it dealt with two siblings, 28-year-old Slim Sherman (John Smith) and his 14-year-old brother Andy (Bobby Crawford, Jr. , struggling to maintain the family ranch after their father, the patriarch, died from a land-grabber's bullet. Assisting them were surrogate father figure and ranch hand Jonesy (Hoagy Carmichael) and drifter-turned-resident Jess Harper (Robert Fuller). This package contains all 31 episodes from Season One as they originally ran on television from September 1959 through April 1960 - including "Death Wind," "Company Man," "Rope of Steel" and "Street of Hate."
