A former police officer uncovers a pattern of strange disappearances and unsolved deaths in and around the Ironbound section of Newark, New Jersey. The crimes all seem to involve a mysterious man named Thomas whose background is shrouded in the occult.
Thomas, a soldier during World War I, had been shot in battle and was close to death when he was carried away in the arms of a cloaked stranger. The stranger gives him a new "life" as one of the undead. Upon Thomas' return to America, a bloody plague of death begins to spread. The elusive Thomas and his naked vampire brides cannot be stopped from torturing the innocent townsfolk. A beautiful female vampire-killer is out to destroy the blood-sucked and his cult as the list of victims continues to grow.
The Ironbound Vampire is an ambitious underground production that has the feel of a modern-day Edward D. Wood, Jr. movies, and features special guest appearances by Wood cast veterans Dolores Fuller (Glen or Glenda?) and Conrad Brooks (Plan 9 From Outer Space). Contains nudity.
Requiem For A Vampire (2005, Color, 93 minutes): The LeGaults are incestuous vampires, led by the charismatic Michael, who endure into modern times. The undead creatures are as adept at stalking the night as they are resourceful, running a phony blood donation center as a source for plasma to quench their unholy thirst. Jerry, a New Jersey health inspector, goes undercover with Phyllis, a newspaper reporter, to investigate the fake blood bank. They cross paths with two students of the occult, Tara and Rosemary, who are pursuing the LeGaults' dark secrets. The investigators draw closer to uncovering the vampires' perverted world of horror, but Tara is increasingly tempted to sell her soul and join the immortal brood. The monstrous clan performs an unholy ceremony that will culminate in bloodshed and death to those who dare to probe too deeply!
The Vampire Happening (1971, Color, 101 minutes): Filled with torture chambers and mantraps, the Transylvanian castle of Baroness Catali has lain empty for fifteen years. When American actress Betty Williams, heir to the manor, arrives to claim her inheritance, she learns of the gruesome fate that befell her grandmother - found murdered in her bed, naked with her neck punctured. As the actress settles in, the undead Baroness emerges from her tomb with an unquenchable thirst for blood. Striking first at the nearby seminary, the vampiress quickly devours the men of the town. Newly-converted vampire monks and Catholic schoolgirls run amok through the streets, sinking their teeth into every available victim. The action climaxes in a debauched undead orgy, where Betty must either join Dracula's legions or fight for her life. Originally released in West Germany as Gebissen Wird Nur Nachts, >The Vampire Happening infuses the horror genre with bawdy humor - both absurd gags and subtle in-jokes for vampire buffs. This lusty film was concieved by Italian producer Pier Caminneci, who cast in a dual role his beautiful wife Pia Degermark (Elvira Madigan) as the attractive American as well as the bloodthirsty Countess. Freddie Francis, veteran British director of such films as Evil of Frankenstein and Dr. Terror's House of Horrors, went on to wide acclaim as the cinematographer of David Lynch's The Elephant Man. Contains Nudity.
The Vampires Night Orgy (1972, Color, 81 minutes): In a desolate European town, cannibalistic vampires anxiously await their prey. When a busload of tourists are stranded in the village, the undead army, led by a vampire Countess, pounces upon their helpless victims. One by one the visitors are slaughtered by the vampires in sadistic and brutal rituals. Those remaining make a final desperate attempt to escape certain death in a gory, nightmarish battle for survival. This Euro-cult classic is atmospherically chilling and features a veteran international cast. From the ominous creak of the inn's front door to the blood-thirsty Countess' eerie rise from her tomb, veteran horror director Leon Klimovsky creates a top-shelf ghoulish tale of bloodlust and cannibalism. Contains Nudity.
