Celebrations circa Easter time are traditionally some of the most innocuous in the calendar. Until the ANGEL OF DEATH comes calling. The inhabitants of small towns often delighting in reenacting a passionate retelling of the story of Christ as Easter rolls around. But when a spate of killings leaves the local populace of such a town in a state of perplexed abhorrence, all eyes turn to detective Maria Delgado (Mira Sorvino) to bring the perpetrators of such abominable bloodshed to justice. As the body count mounts, Delgado keenly feels the pressure bearing down on her from the locals, leading to a frenzied conclusion to this compelling murder-mystery.
