The Freddy Martin installment of BMG Special Products In the Mood With series is an entertaining collection of the bandleader/tenor sax man's most memorable tunes, and an evocative snapshot of the Swing Era. The LP includes Martin's signature arrangement of the first movement of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto in B Flat, as well as Tonight We Love, which adds lyrics to the piece. Other highlights include the campy singalong favorite "Managua, Nicaragua" and "Doin' What Comes Natur'lly" from Annie Get Your Gun. ~ Johnny Loftus
