Conway Twitty's first recording for Warner Bros, after a long stretch on MCA followed by a brief Elektra stint, 1983's LOST IN THE FEELING showcases a high degree of musical diversity. It would be easy to imagine Waylon Jennings recording the honky-tonk trot, "The Best Is Yet To Come," without much alteration. "You've Got a Good Love Coming" is a chugging soul tune complete with horn section. Twitty tackles the hits of others as well, reinterpreting everything from the Eagles' rocker "Heartache Tonight" to the Commodores' ballad "Three Times a Lady."
