Though hardly a greatest-hits package, this CD offers up interesting asides from Billie Holiday's storied career. All are quality tracks, but many are more obscure numbers, some that showcase a lighthearted Lady Day, especially "Getting Some Fun Out of Life" and "The Moon Looks Down and Laughs." The prime cuts are the title selection, "They Can't Take That Away from Me," and "Mean to Me," while the remainder reminds us how Holiday was able to take any tune and make it her own.
