While the Chi-Lites' Best Of is not as thorough a release as 2001's 20 Greatest Hits, this Collectables release does assemble some of the finest moments in the long and prestigeous career of one of soul music's most dynamic groups. The majority of their largest hits are included, including the potent love songs "Oh Girl" and "Have You Seen Her" and the politically charged "(For God's Sake) Give More Power to the People." It's a great place to start for the curious listener and enjoyable for the seasoned soul fan. ~ Rob Theakston
