Entertainment Reviews:

Los Angeles Times - 02/21/1997

"...An inspired and fascinating documentary....Ungar has gathered an impressive array of experts and a lot of terrific archival material..."

Chicago Sun-Times - 10/11/1996

"...It is an intriguing story....The film meticulously constructs from documents the mindset of Bedaux..."

Product Description:

A profile of quixotic European industrialist (and likely Nazi collaborator) Charles E. Bedaux, whose ambition and imagination won him a fortune but also led him on outrageous expeditions, such as his 1934 trek through the then-unmapped Canadian Rockies with a giant entourage including Hollywood cinematographer Floyd Crosby. Footage of the voyage is interspersed with interviews and other documentation. Winner of a Genie award for Best Feature Documentary.
