Three stories about the troubles facing the gay community in China are collected on THE OLD TESTAMENT. In "Song of Solomon," a rapidly disintegrating relationship between two men is thrown into further disarray as they decide to look after an ex-lover stricken with the deadly virus. In "Proverbs," a bisexual man tries to engage in intimate relationships with both his wife and his male lover, with calamitous results. And finally, in "Psalter," homophobia rears its ugly head as a straight married couple attempts to stop the husband's brother from having sex with a man.
