Oscar Wilde's story of a cantankerous ghost who's only looking for some peace and quiet in "his" castle which has recently been inhabited by new tenants. Amusing mayhem results as the ghost tries to scare off the intruders.

Plot Synopsis:

In this adaptation of Oscar Wilde's famous ghost story, an American family encounters the supernatural when they inherit a creepy English castle. Harry Canterville arrives at the estate with his daughter, Jennifer, and his second wife, Lucy, to claim their new possession. They soon meet an old member of Harry's family -- Sir Simon, a 300-year old ghost. Although the family is at first frightened by the spirit, Jennifer soon befriends him...
