"...There's an amiable nonchalance in Chong's film..."
Rae Dawn is worried about her dad, a.k.a. Far Out Man, an eternal hippie musician for whom time has stopped at the breakup of his marriage during the Woodstock era. She contacts a psychiatrist and the comedy begins.
The '60s meet the '90s with wacked-out results as an over-the-hill hippie hits the road in search of his wife and son. This off-the-cuff comedy stars not one but three Chongs -- and it's written and directed by one too.
