Music Lovers' Ratings & Reviews:
Based on 5 ratings.
There was never ANY "slow and painful decline" in Sylvester's musical output and/or creativity; nor did this album have "erratic production".
EVERY SONG on this album is a winner. Once signed with Megatone, Syl followed his instincts and began recording Dance/HiNRG/Eurodisco music and never looked back. With producers Patrick Cowley, Tip Wirrick, Ken Kessie and Morey Goldstein, Sylvester would release several albums for Megatone.
All of Sylvesters albums starting with "All I Need" stand on their original merits. Anyone into Sylvester or his music would have NO IDEA what Mr. Wynn is discussing in his review, and personally would question whether he ever actually listened to any of Syl's music.
To this day, whenever I hear Sylvester's unearthly wail - all I think of are friends and fun and good times and Syl will always represent that for me. Sylvester never attained the true fame he deserved but left us with a brave, rich legacy of music that knew few boundaries for people to continue to discover. This was his gift to everyone.
